Cincinnati Wedding Photography Eric and Kristyn, 5-29-11

By: Cincinnati Wedding Photographers, Daniel Michael

May 30, 2011

The Senior Photographers at this wedding were Daniel Michael and Doug Oaks.  The Associate Photographers were Jessica Fischer.  All Portraits are courtesy of Images by Daniel Michael.

The Ceremony Destination and Reception Location were both at the Verdin Bell Event Centre.  Not that I'm ever surprised by this, but Amy and the staff were amazing.  The food was ridiculous and the service was spot on. Their Wedding DJ was Brandon from Hey Mr DJ.  Few MC's can personalize a reception like the guys at Hey Mr DJ.  It's always entertaining, well thought out, well planned and professional..  The Wedding Cake was Cheesecake from Jerry's Cheesecakes!.  The beautiful flowers were provided by the Florist Petals and Glass.  Her Hair was done by Liz Carter from Bridal Hair by Liz and Make Up was done by the talented Nancy from Brideface.  I loved what Danny from CSC did with the Lighting.  The Bell event center is so beautiful it doesn't need much lighting.  However, some effect lights on the dance floor, some decor lights and most importantly, spot lights outside on the stained glass windows featured one of the more unique aspects of the Bell Event Center even at night when the sun no longer lights them up.  I finally had the opportunity to work with Wedding and Event Planner, Julie and the wonderfully talented ladies from Cincy Event Planning.  They were on time, organized, and always behind the scenes.  If you didn't know there was a wedding planner, you would have assumed Kristyn was capable of miracles!

The Senior Photographer at this wedding Daniel Michael.  The Associate Photographer was Jenny Beaver.  All Portraits are courtesy of Images by Daniel Michael.

The Ceremony Destination was Faith Community United Methodist while the Reception Location was Heritage Country Club.  Their Wedding DJ was Dale from Sounds Great Entertainment.  The tasty Wedding Cake was prepared by Cakes come true and Truffles too.  The beautiful flowers were provided by the Florist Baysores.  Her  Hair and Make Up was done by Pure Concepts in Mason Ohio.

I have to say I was privileged to hear possibly the sweetest line ever delivered in a best man speech today.  Jason's younger brother Brenden spent his entire speech tastefully and with humor talking about how his brother (Jason) was always a step ahead and Brenden almost never was able to match Jason's accomplishments.  The few times he was able to, he savored every moment!  But at the tail end of the speech after having the entire crowd hanging on his every word and cracking up, he delivered this line.  I hope I remember it well enough. "Through these past four years Steph you have become like a sister to me and have ensured Jason's rain as TOKEN RICE CHILD will never end because I know no matter how long I search I won't be able to find a girl that can hold a candle to you."  I watched Steph's face and have a photo coming back when the film is processed as it went from hysterically cracking up to completely struck by emotions.  It was a powerful moment.  It was killing me trying to remember what you said! Well done!  Thank you Brenden for the correction!  Jason and Steph, you are blessed to be surrounded by family and friends that love you, have fun with you and would give to you in the same way you would give to them.  It doesn't get much better than this.  Congratulations!

Cincinnati Wedding Photography, Latonia and Curtis, May 27, 2011

By: Cincinnati Wedding Photographers, Daniel Michael, Emily Naehring

May 28, 2011

The Senior Photographers at this wedding were Daniel Michael and Emily Naehring.  All Portraits are courtesy of Images by Daniel Michael.

The Ceremony Destination and Reception Location were both at Elements Conference and Event Center while the portraits were taken at Sharon Woods.  My hats off to Nidhi, Vikas, Varun, Mario and the entire staff at Elements.  The day couldn't have been more smooth and Latonia and Curtis couldn't have been happier.  Their Wedding DJ was the always entertaining, smooth talking, master MC Jason from Hey Mr DJ.  The tasty Wedding Cake was prepared by an all time favorite, Patricias.  The beautiful flowers were provided by Cincinnati Florist the Silk Canopy.  Latonia has an allergy to flowers and you would never know the flowers were silk unless you touched them!  Her Make Up was done by the amazingly talented Tamra Berry while her hair was done by Nadi Hair Spa.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a more emotional bride after her wedding than Latonia.  Her and Curtis are meant to be together and after 9 years....IT'S ABOUT TIME!

Cincinnati Wedding Photography, Ben and Trisha 5-20-11

By: Cincinnati Wedding Photographers Daniel Michael. Doug Oaks, Don Schvart

May 21, 2011

I try not to look forward to future weddings since I have to keep my focus on what's in front of me.  But this was an exception.  I've known Ben since he was a few months old and Trisha since Ben's Senior Portraits.  Pretty much since the day I photographed the two of them at Ben's Senior Photography Session, I've been waiting for this day.  Ben's family was like a second family to me growing up (not that I wasn't fine with the first family!), but Mrs. Williams did bake 975 cookies for tonight so you judge for yourself!  Anyways, knowing the whole family and having shot weddings for them before, I knew the Williams side of the family knew how to party.  But tonight, FINALLY, they met their match with Trisha's!  I never ever say that anything was the "best ever".  But I'll say this, if anyone wants to compare themselves to become the best party ever, this is your measuring stick.  Well done my friends!

It was great to see Joe and Nicole after almost a year since their wedding.  At midnight it became Joe's birthday and he made it well worthwhile!  There are going to be so so many photos.  I haven't even looked at any of Doug or Don's Candids yet!  But as promised, I wanted you to have a sneak peek by the time you woke today.  I know Ben and Trisha have another wedding to get to today so I hope they get a chance to have a glimpse of these before then.  But have a great time at the wedding today and then off to Mexico I believe!

Love you guys.  This one will not soon be forgotten by anyone!  It was so nice to see so many of my friends and family having such a great time.

Thank you to Jeff from Party Pleasers for taking such great care of my friends and creating an atmosphere that allowed this to be the best party I can remember in quite some time!

May 8, 2011

The Senior Photographers at this wedding were Daniel Michael and Stacey Lucas.  All Portraits are courtesy of Images by Daniel Michael.

The Wedding Ceremony and Reception Destination was all at the Manor House in Mason, Ohio.  Michelle Misch Bowe detailed the wedding for the Manor House while Naila Chowdhery was the banquet manager.  The Wedding DJ was the always enthusiastic, creative and talented Doug of Party Pleasers.  The tasty Wedding Cake was prepared by Patricia's!  The beautiful flowers were provided by the Florist Mary Alice Funke.  Her Hair was amazing and held up all night long despite the fact it was down and curled!  J. McQueen Salon was amazing!  Not to be outdone, her Make Up was done by Penny with Brideface while the Lighting was provided by Party Pleasers.  And last but not least, the amazingly talented, charming and good looking Matt Pine of Lifetime films was our partner in crime on video.

We were fortunate enough to fight off the rain all through photos but then just before the ceremony that was to take place in the gazebo, just enough rain fell from the skies to scare us inside to the atrium while the sun then decided to poke out as the ceremony started.  If we were anywhere else, I'd have been disappointed, but the banquet manager Naila (who is simply wonderful) and Dan and the staff at the manor house made the switch over in a matter of minutes to the best back up location in all of Cincinnati-The Manor House Atrium.

The rest of the night went off without a hitch.  Danielle and Rob were just a thrill to work with. Their families were fun, friendly and made all of us feel like part of the family.  Doug was a masterful master of ceremonies who truly captured the personalities of Rob and Danielle to make their wedding reception one that will be talked about and compared to for years to come.  It was a dream team of wedding vendors, a stunning location and the perfect couple to go with it.

Thank you Matt for refering us and thank you to Danielle and Rob for including us!

I spend most of my time at Sharon Woods for Engagement Photos but today it was a new destination!  Amanda just loves Ault Park.  So, we go to Ault Park!!  I (Daniel Michael) was the Senior Photographer on this engagement session and enjoyed mixing in a little bit more of a portrait look to Amanda and Brian's photos as well as a some dramatic and natural looking photos as well.  This is nothing more than a sneak peek to show off some of the beautiful area's Ault Park has to offer.

Enjoy!

Cincinnati Family Photography, Chris and Stephanie's Family Portraits

By: Cincinnati Children's Photograpehrs, Daniel Michael

May 1, 2011

Children's Photography and Family Portraits are becoming almost as emotionally rewarding as Wedding Photography for me!  It's always nice to catch up with our couples years after their wedding.  It's so happy to see a different type of joy and love in their eyes as they have become parents compared to the love they feel toward each other on their wedding day.  It's a transformation that makes me sound all sappy here!  Chris and Stephanie, this is all your fault!!  Thanks.

May 1, 2011

The Senior Photographers at this wedding were Daniel Michael and Doug Oaks.  The Associate Photographer was Jessica Fischer.  All Portraits are courtesy of Images by Daniel Michael.

The Ceremony Destination was Bellarmine Chapel at St Xavier while the Reception Location was the beautiful Continental Room at the Hilton Netherlands downtown.  Their Wedding DJ was Brian Benton from DJ Butlers Music by Request.  The tasty Wedding Cake was prepared by a Spoon fulla Sugar while Wedding Transportation was provided by Motor Toys.  The beautiful flowers were provided by Susan Foy of The Wedding DesignerHair was done by Pump Salon, Jessica Flowers and make up was done by Erin Clark while the Lighting was provided by Goodwin.  And it was all put together by the amazing Wedding Planners from the I do Boutique.

Yesterday was in interesting day from the start.  First of all, the city had gone mad this weekend and there was no place to park!  Everything was full because of the Marathon and Reds game.  So then we got a call from the groom about his buddy Dave who was on his way to the emergency room at Good Sam because he split open his head!  Don't worry, he's fine.  They saw him pull up in Motor Toys Hummer Limo in a tux and had him in and out and ready for photos in no time.  Matt and Beth were everything I could as for in a couple.  They were good looking, fun, able to go with the flow and appreciative of everything that went amazingly.... which was everything else!  The ladies from the I do boutique pulled everything together, the weather was amazing, the staff at the Hilton was fantastic, the cake was to die for, lighting was stunning and everyone there was beautiful and a blast to be around.  Matt and Beth, you're wedding was amazing.  Congratulations and thank you for letting us be a part of it.
