Cincinnati Wedding Photographers Daniel Michael, Katie Schaefer and Aaron Gibson enjoyed a beautiful day with Chris and Megan today. Blue sky with some white clouds, 85, nice breeze, old friends, new friends, wonderful group of people... who could ask for more!?! After some prep photos with Megan, we headed to Spring Grove for the guys pictures where we hooked up with my old buddy Jeff Hill of Jeff Hill Wedding Videography. He had Tina and Katie with him who were just a joy to work with! I had two Katie's with me, so adding a third made it easy for the wedding party to remember our names! The flowers were just gorgeous as always when we get to work with Florist, MattFelds. Motor Toys took care of getting everyone around and were professional and easy to work with as usual.
From there, we headed to St. Ursula for the one of the more entertaining Catholic Wedding Ceremonys I've seen in a while! Father Tom, you're fantastic! Then it was off to the Wedding Reception at the Verdin Bell Event Centre downtown where Brooke and her crew were just fantastic. I love working with you guys. Thanks so much for taking such good care of us but also my friends. I've known Megan's sister Sarah for a couple years now. Prior to moving out of state she assisted with us for a summer. The Wedding Cake from Bonbonerie was amazing as always and the night couldn't have been more perfect.
Megan looked more amazing than I even thought she would be in her bridal gown from David's Bridal. I can't think of a thing that could have made their day any more amazing. I'm so happy for you guys. Sarah, thanks for bringing Megan and Chris to us. I love both of your families and look forward to Sarah's wedding and Ben's wedding down the line!

Mandy and Bryan's Engagement Photography session was the first time I had met them since her sister is getting married and did the legwork for her! Clearly it worked out well! I'm looking forward to both of your weddings and getting to hang with my buddy Tim from Party Pleasers DJ service for the first time in a while! I'm looking forward to it!

Cincinnati Wedding Photographers Daniel Michael and Mitchell Cooke travel to Faith Community United Methodist Church for Dan and Jennifer's Wedding Ceremony. Following that is a stop at the overlook from Covington at Riverside Dr and then the Wedding Reception at the beautiful Drees Pavilion at Devou park in Northern Kentucky. Their reception was an amazing combination of beauty with the amazing view of downtown from Drees Pavilion, the delicious food from Elegant Fare and Wedding Cake from the lovely and talented Pat fromPatricia's Cakes and then the best entertainment around with the always sweet, energetic, fun and extremely talented group from the Airwave Band.
Jennifer's Floral arrangements were a stunning combination from Cincinnati Florist MattFeld's. Her hair and makeup were done at Mitchells Salon in West Chester. It was great to see my old friend Jeff Hill with his video camera in hand! I'm sure he got some great stuff but I'll just have to wait a little longer to see it! The gorgeous flowing gown was from Bridal and Formal.
Having said all that, Jennifer and Dan were wonderful. They were as sweet a couple as I could hope to have, laid back and photographed very comfortably. I'm not sure either one of them is capable of complaining about anything! Of course when your wedding day is perfect, what is there to complain about? Thank you guys for letting us be part of your wedding day and enjoy your sneak peek!

My first question to Wes was, "is this for you or your mom?" Easy answer, "Mom". So for me it was let's get some nice portraits of Wes plus a few with his brother, and let him go do something fun! Mom and Wes both seemed happy with this concept and we were off and running!

It was a beautiful for engagement and family photography day at Alms Park on Cincinnati's east side. It was so nice that a couple friends of Liz and Steve thought they should get married that night! Or maybe they just screwed up the date and happened to get lucky and show up when Liz and Steve were there to tell them it was NEXT MONTH! I have to tell you, that was pretty funny. The twins were so funny and having so much fun. All I had to do was point the camera and click! I can't wait till the wedding. It was a good time at the park friday! I'll see you there again in a month!

Cincinnati Senior Photographer Daniel Michael with Don, Aaron and Amanda photographed Paul and Becky Saturday august 13. We started at their house doing some details and getting ready photos and followed that up with a trip to Eden Park where they saw each other for the first time. From there we headed to Findlay Market and then to Holy Trinity Church in Norwood for a beautiful Wedding Ceremony. The Wedding Reception was at the stunning Verdin Bell Event Centrewhere Brooke and her staff were just amazing! Danny from CSCdid the lighting and was also the MC/DJ. It was a good night all around!!
Everything was just fun, beautiful and pretty much perfect all day long. Katie Elfers made gorgeous vibrant bouquets, LOVED THEM! Watching Ashley from I do MakeUp was like watching an artist work canvas. Every time I looked over at Becky she was getting more and more beautiful! The beautiful wedding cake was provided by Affordable Wedding Creations.
Probably the hardest thing we did, was at the end of the night when Becky wanted to spell "thanks" in sparklers! She had seen a photo with "love" which was much easier because every letter flowed and because it was only 4 letters. But with this we had to use lower case letters to make it work. The ladies helping with this task were not completely sober at midnight but were making a valiant effort anyways. And it worked!! What a fun day for everyone! I'm not sure if Cristin Kiefer has any wedding planning experience, but if I hadn't known she was a guest, I'd have said she was a pretty damn good planner. Cristin, you were right on top of everything and made things so much easier for me. Thank you!

Apparently if you take your Destination Wedding Photographer to Rome, Italy for your wedding, they are expected to do Maternity Photography in Cincinnati 11 months later! You guys are like rock stars! You're on the wall, in a magazine, and on 6 different pages of our website!! It's getting kinda ridiculous. When you have the little guy, you'll end up on the family and children's portraits page too I assume!!
Thanks guys, it was a lot of fun to play around a little.

I had to mix in a little Cincinnati Children's Photography to the blog with Steph and Chris' two kids photos! Never would have imagined you as a stay at home mom with twins! You two are such loving parents it's fun to be a part of it. Thanks for inviting me into your home so I could work with them in a more comfortable setting. The house is beautiful!!

Cincinnati Senior Photographers Daniel Michael, Jessica Fischer and Emily Erker photographed Jimmy and Victoria's Outdoor Wedding Ceremony and Indoor Wedding Reception at the Nathaniel Green Lodge yesterday. I hesitated about even mentioning that Jimmy is deaf and Victoria is partially deaf since this day was not about that. It was about a relationship that has endured from their sophomore year in high school all the way till 14 years and one 8 year old son later. It is a special relationship surrounded by some wonderful family and friends. I do however mention it simply because I was amazed at how well I was able to connect with both of them. I feel like old friends. They are such genuine caring people that you just can't help but become friends. I am so happy for the whole family.
The Wedding DJ and MC from Party Pleasers DJ was Doug. I know every time I work with Doug, I'm likely to see something I haven't seen before and tonight was no exception. If you look at the facebook photos you'll see a garter removal like no other. You see, Jimmy is a MMA fighter who took a break leading up to his wedding but will be returning to the ring soon I believe. So prior to the garter removal, he changed into is UFC gear and Doug set up some Rocky music, fog, laser lights and created an intro to the ring (dance floor) that mimicked a fight between the Victoria and James. It was well done and entertaining to watch. Doug takes things to another level with unique ideas like no other DJ I've ever worked with! Party Pleasers also set up the lighting for the evening.
In addition to all that, I got to see the best first kiss ever! WOW Jimmy! The Wedding Bouquets were from the Florist, A Gathering of Flowers. Terri did a fantastic job! For the second night in a row, Spoon Fulla Sugar created a beautiful wedding cake that I'm sure was amazing but I never back to grab a piece again!! What's wrong with me!?
Victoria and Jimmy, you are a beautiful couple both inside and out. You guys are another example of why I love this so much! Thank you so much for including us!

Senior Wedding Photographer Daniel Michael photographs Jack and Allison's wedding ceremony at Faith Community United Methodist in West Chester and wedding reception at the Marriott North in West Chester. Mark and John did a fantastic job tag teaming the ceremony. Allison got a little choked up when they talked about "for richer or poorer"...hmmmm... There may be a staff as good as Meghan and the crew at the Marriott somewhere in the city, but I'd be hard pressed to find any that are better. I'm just not sure how anyone can be better. Everything happened exactly how and when it was supposed to. Food was served exceptionally quickly, everyone was taken care of, every little detail was attended to. Meghan Zlatic is an amazing combination of sweet, genuine, organized, professional and hard working. Simply, she does things the way they should be done. And if Allison decides to comment on this blog, I'm certain she will back up that statement as will Tom from Rick Juler who was also quite amazing himself! I watched him multi task things that anyone else would need two people to do! The Chicago bulls style entrance with lighting, custom intros and custom musical clips went off perfectly. The lighting in the room was well done by Entertainment Unlimited Events and helped create the custom ambience that Allison was going for.
I was completely blown away by Karis and Amber from Mitchell's Salon and Day Spa in West Chester. Not only did Allison look stunningly beautiful, but they were done ahead of schedule!! I never see that!! Thank you! Jeanie from Motor Toys Limousine Service was like an extra planner! She was right there just like Alyssa was with our crew always offering an extra set of hands and making sure Allison and Jack were always taken care of. I didn't get a chance to have any of the cake this week. I normally don't eat the wedding cake but make exceptions when Spoon Fulla Sugar is making their Hummingbird cake!!
Allison attended to every detail of her wedding. It was quite impressive. It looked like everything was done by a professional. You should be very proud of yourself. You put together an amazing wedding. My hats off to you, Jack and each of your families. And I might have been mistaken, but did I catch a little bit of an Ohio State theme wedding? Seemed like I saw something that made me think of Ohio State but I can't quite seem to put my finger on it.
