{Cincinnati Wedding Photography}-Kurt & Allison 10-15-11

New York, Idaho, Columbus, Cincinnati, Connecticut and I'm sure I'm forgetting some, Kurt and Allison just happened to be in the right place a the right time and that was Starbucks in New York.  I was fortunate enough to go to that same Starbucks for part of their engagement session!  It's been quite a ride planning for this day and I'm sure MOB Joyce feels it was worth every bit of it!! (since she was the glue that pulled it all together).  Thank you Joyce.  It was a joy to work with and become friends with both sides of the family.  It was the perfect blend of Classy, Elegant, Fun, Artistic and Genuine.  On top of that, you assembled a dream team of vendors!

To start we have two of the more beautiful wedding venues with just amazing staffs.  At Old St. Mary's Father Josh Lange was such a pleasure to be around as well as Amy who just cannot seem to stop smiling!  The Taft Museum of Art was gorgeous.  Goodwin Lighting did some lighting and decor while Joyce kicked in with a little help getting together some chandeliers!  I appreciate the full course dinner that was provided by Jeff Thomas Catering.  It may have been the best dinner I've had at a wedding in my life!!  I'm pretty sure both Patricia's Wedding Cakes and Courtenay Lambert Florist absolutely have outdone themselves.  The cake was gorgeous and of course delicious and the floral arrangements were just stunning.

As much as I love Penny from Brideface, she had the easy job of the day.  That was making Allison look stunning.  I don't want to diminish Penny's artistic abilities at all as I was hoping to get in the chair and see what she could do with me...ok so that's hopeless!  But really?  How hard is it to make Allison stunning?  Still Penny, it was good to see you again and you were amazing as I pretty much expect!  The hair styles were courtesy of Ashley with Rustic Pear.  Again, amazing!  And then there's DJ/MC Steve Bender and Videographer Matt Pine with Lifetime Films.  There are so many things I could say, but I'll be nice!  It's really good to get to work with quality professionals and old friends.

There was not an average vendor in the group.  Everyone was exceptional which was appropriate since Kurt, Allison and their families were just as exceptional.  I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and check out more on our Facebook Page

An all star cast of vendors for an all star couple.  Cody and Eva were my kinda of couple!  Love them!  I wish we were in vegas so we could keep going!  Of course if that were the case, I wouldn't be posting these photos!  So, first things first!  I have to give credit to a group of vendors who were absolutely first class.  I have to start with the staff at Drees Pavillion at Devou park.  You guys were on top of everything and made sure Cody and Eva could enjoy every moment of their night!  McHales Catering  not only had amazing food, but had everyone fed and ready to party so fast that I was almost not even ready yet!  Then of course there was Jimmy Jam with CSC productions.  It's been too long my friend!  I'll have to work on correcting that!!  The wedding hair and make up was done by Salon Beck and I must say the ladies were stunning.  I'd like to give credit to the people from Salon Beck but at the same time, I'm pretty sure these ladies were going to look amazing no matter what!!  The room was decked out by nothing but the best; Susan Foy was the event designer while the fine people at Goodwin Lighting accented the room.  The guys were decked out in nothing but the best from Folchi's Formalwear which lead to my second week in a row of no issues with tuxes!!  Savannah Nite had a pimped out limo to get everyone around (in particular to the after party at Bartini's).  Patricia's cake was the usual... Amazing!!!  Uncle Rick performed a fantastic ceremony where he ad libbed as necessary to make everything just perfect.

Cody and Eva are very lucky people.  First of all, you're lucky to have found each other.  You're the couple everyone wants to be.  Second, you have the complete support of your family and friends.  They all love you so much that the after party struggled (I use that term loosely) to get started without you!  Ok, so they were partying like rock stars and barley noticed when you arrived.  Anyways, you have a great support system, a great example in your parents and siblings who look up to you and are there for you anytime you need them.  Oh and did I mention, you had a kick ass wedding!!

The Senior Photographers at this wedding were Daniel Michael and Doug Oaks.  The Associate Photographer was Jessica Fischer.  All Portraits are courtesy of Images by Daniel Michael.

The Ceremony Destination was Bellarmine Chapel at St Xavier while the Reception Location was the beautiful Continental Room at the Hilton Netherlands downtown.  Their Wedding DJ was Brian Benton from DJ Butlers Music by Request.  The tasty Wedding Cake was prepared by a Spoon fulla Sugar while Wedding Transportation was provided by Motor Toys.  The beautiful flowers were provided by Susan Foy of The Wedding DesignerHair was done by Pump Salon, Jessica Flowers and make up was done by Erin Clark while the Lighting was provided by Goodwin.  And it was all put together by the amazing Wedding Planners from the I do Boutique.

Yesterday was in interesting day from the start.  First of all, the city had gone mad this weekend and there was no place to park!  Everything was full because of the Marathon and Reds game.  So then we got a call from the groom about his buddy Dave who was on his way to the emergency room at Good Sam because he split open his head!  Don't worry, he's fine.  They saw him pull up in Motor Toys Hummer Limo in a tux and had him in and out and ready for photos in no time.  Matt and Beth were everything I could as for in a couple.  They were good looking, fun, able to go with the flow and appreciative of everything that went amazingly.... which was everything else!  The ladies from the I do boutique pulled everything together, the weather was amazing, the staff at the Hilton was fantastic, the cake was to die for, lighting was stunning and everyone there was beautiful and a blast to be around.  Matt and Beth, you're wedding was amazing.  Congratulations and thank you for letting us be a part of it.
