The Wedding Photography for Erika and Adam's Wedding Ceremony and Reception at the stunning Bell Event Centre in Downtown Cincinnati was the result of the perfect combination of vendors, family and an amazing couple.  Christy, Amy and the staff at the Verdin Bell Event Center as well as Kristen from Tres Chic wedding planning, Danny from CSC productions and the ridiculously talented Courtenay Lambert florals made for a stunning event.

Erika picked the perfect dress though I'm fairly confident that any dress she would have picked would have looked like it was made for her.  The guys tuxes were from Folchi's Formalwear and as usual were the perfect fit.  I stayed away from the cake from Spoon Fula Sugar though they had to put it right out where I'd keep walking past it and walking past it!  Pastor Eastman was the officiant from Marriage Chaplain and created a very personal and energetic wedding ceremony.  The first dance had Bud Walters Written all over it, Classy and Elegant.  To top it off, was Say Cheese photo booth and Savannah Nite's Party Bus Limo.

I do not know who did the stationary and table cards because it's not on my list of vendors to ask about!  But it looked so good I figured I'd mention it.  If Kristen or Erika are reading this, please add a comment with the vendor so I can give them some credit here!

It was a long weekend for this photographer!  But it was well worth it!  I had two super fun weddings and then a few fantastic engagement sessions on Sunday.  After a stunning evening at The Grand on Friday, I was right back in Covington at the newly remodeled Madison Emerald Room for the wedding reception.  The Ceremony was at the gorgeous and always easy to work with St Francis De Sales.  To me the striking part of this day was simply family.  As the best man and maid of honor spoke so well, it's about bonds.  I could see it in their eyes, Dad, Mom, Sister, Brother and husband and wife.  I saw great joy, love and people who would give anything for each other.  The evening however was highlighted by the Amnesia Lane Band who were nothing short of spectacular!  The wedding cake was fantastic and made by (I feel like saying "as usual" here) Spoon Fulla Sugar.  The florist was Secret Garden and hair and make up was done by the Style Squad.  If you loved Michelle's bridal gown as much as we did, it was from Fabulous Bridal and as you can see on the facebook page, they also had a photo booth from Say Cheese and a limo from Land Force One.

Having said all that, I think you can get a pretty good feel for everything by looking at the photos here and facebook.  Enjoy!

The Photography, Wedding Ceremony and Reception was going to be nothing short of fun and crazy from the moment Andy and Laura walked in the room.  Don't get me wrong, it was classy and elegant as well.  But what a night!  I had to leave a few of my favorite photos off the facebook page in favor of good taste!  My hat's off to The Grand by McHales in Covington KY and Jeremy with DJ Butlers for really making it a reception to remember.  St Xavier was beautiful as always.  It's always good to see the same faces when I'm in there.  We worked with Land Force 1 both Friday and Saturday this weekend.  Both families were very pleased!  I was fortunate enough to meet a new vendor for me at least tonight as well.  His name is David Klingerman with Five Stone Productions Films.  I'll link his page when I have the info!  I love it when Videographers are easy to work with.  I also worked with Say Cheese Photo Booths both Friday and Saturday!  I think everyone knows how much I love them!!

Now, it's off to bed.  I still have more blogging to do tomorrow!!

This one certainly snuck up on me!  It seems I just saw Ron and Michelle a few weeks ago after they were engaged.  This one was another family reunion for me!  Ron and I grew up together in the same neighborhood while Michelle was in my high school graduating class.  So all my old neighbors were here including Tom and Sue who are the parents of a couple of our past grooms Mike and Ben, my own parents, the parents of my best men at my wedding and I could go on but will not!  Then there were some high school friends as well as a couple of our previous couples Chad & Jen and Joel & Shelly.  I ran into a groomsman from one of last year's weddings where another groomsman was sent to the ER for stitches.  It seems the list never ends!  It was so much fun seeing some people I haven't seen in 10-20 years as well as getting a chance to get a chance to really see what kind of people Ron, Michelle, Sabrina, Elliot and Grant have become in the years we've been away from each other.  I completely forgot how much fun everyone is!

I was so thrilled for Michelle to see how amazing of a day it was.  It seemed everything just went exactly as it was supposed to.  The weather was perfect, everyone was on time or early, the ceremony and reception at Receptions West were beautiful, Ron and Michelle both cried when they saw each other and everyone was fun and exceptionally photogenic.  Will from DJ Toad had the dance floor hopping and then met us at JTAPS Sports Bar afterward where Tommy was so kind and took great care of everyone.  BTW, when you go to the facebook page, that's him blowing fire!  The cake was perfect and I heard it was tasty so thanks to Cakes by Mindy for that!  I have horribly forgotten the name of the Chauffeur from Your Chauffeur but she was fun, and right on top of things.  Everyone loved her!  It's only appropriate that Michelle had the florist from Kroger in Montgomery do her flowers since she manages that store.  They were wonderful.  The Kroger people certainly were there in force as well!

We really couldn't have asked for anymore from you and I can only hope that you love the photos as much as we enjoyed being there.

It was good to see Courtney and Robin at the Oasis Conference and Event Center center today.  It was a fun and beautiful wedding.  However, I mostly want to thank the staff at the Oasis for always thinking of the vendors and being sure we're taken care of.  It means a lot!  Thanks!  I think there may be some requirement to have Jason from Party Pleasers DJs at every wedding I do now!!  Or maybe it's just that our couples have good taste :-)  We may have the same issue with Say Cheese Photo Booths since it seems I'm seeing Patrick about once a week!

I loved Lauren and Ben's idea to pour beer into Das Boot in place of a unity candle for their wedding ceremony. PRICELESS! That was about the most relaxed ceremony I think I've ever seen!!  It was also great to catch up with Josh, Erin, Rachel, Kip and mom and dad again as well as making some new friends with Linda, Aaron and Ben's parents as well.  Thanks so much for making me feel so much a part of the family!  Enjoy the sneak peek!  There's more on the Facebook Page.  Be sure to Like us and tag yourself in photos!

Cincinnati Wedding Photography Brandon & Christy 6-10-11

The Senior Photographers at this wedding were Daniel Michael and Doug Oaks.  All Portraits are courtesy of Images by Daniel Michael.

The Ceremony Destination was St. Martin de Tours while the Reception Location was Wunderland.  Lori with Wunderland had to be just a little stressed as the power was out from the strong storms that came through right up until the couple arrived.  But true to form it was as if nothing had gone wrong.  Dinner was served on time (and was amazing I might add!), everything ran smoothly and it was a pleasure to be there.  I always love catching up with my buddy, Wedding DJ John Summers.  He has as smooth of a voice as there is in the business!  It's nice working with professionals.  Transportation in the Limo Bus was provided by Motor Toys.  In fact, they are probably still on it now!  Motor Toys offers fantastic rates for 12 and 24 hour packages and Brandon and Christy took advantage and headed to Hollywood Casino after their wedding!  The beautiful flowers which I heard Christy comment several times on how much she loved them were provided by the Florist Nature Nook.  Her  Hair and Make Up was done at LaBella.  To top it all off, we had the privilege of working with Matt Pine of Lifetime Films as well as the fantastic people with Say Cheese photo booths (which is always a huge hit!).

Part of me says we got lucky and things came up and we dealt with them and another part of me says things were perfect and just the way they were supposed to happen!  It rained in the morning (which cooled things off) but dried up in time for photos.  The ladies were running behind at the salon but that forced us to rush a little which had us finish about 10 minutes early which was precisely when the rain started again.  The power went out at the church but it created a nice romantic feel with the dim lighting and then came on again a few minutes later to give us good lighting for the rest of the ceremony.  The rain lightened up just enough to get a photo Christy wanted in front of the church.  The adjustments to the day forced Christy to get a little out of her comfort zone of having every moment of the day planned perfectly which pushed her into going with the flow and enjoying each moment.  Most importantly, everyone had  a blast including myself and the other vendors I spoke with.  Christy and Brandon were a pleasure to be around, the event was beautiful and the people there were even more so.  I was lucky to have been there and thank Hank, Lauren, Theresa and Joe for recommending them to us and for spending some time with me tonight.  Hope everyone was safe and had as great a time as I did!!

I encourage Brandon, Christy and all of their friends and family to post any personal experience they had with Brandon and Christy whether it be at their wedding or anything else you'd like to share in the comment section.
