The Wedding Photography for Erika and Adam's Wedding Ceremony and Reception at the stunning Bell Event Centre in Downtown Cincinnati was the result of the perfect combination of vendors, family and an amazing couple. Christy, Amy and the staff at the Verdin Bell Event Center as well as Kristen from Tres Chic wedding planning, Danny from CSC productions and the ridiculously talented Courtenay Lambert florals made for a stunning event.
Erika picked the perfect dress though I'm fairly confident that any dress she would have picked would have looked like it was made for her. The guys tuxes were from Folchi's Formalwear and as usual were the perfect fit. I stayed away from the cake from Spoon Fula Sugar though they had to put it right out where I'd keep walking past it and walking past it! Pastor Eastman was the officiant from Marriage Chaplain and created a very personal and energetic wedding ceremony. The first dance had Bud Walters Written all over it, Classy and Elegant. To top it off, was Say Cheese photo booth and Savannah Nite's Party Bus Limo.
I do not know who did the stationary and table cards because it's not on my list of vendors to ask about! But it looked so good I figured I'd mention it. If Kristen or Erika are reading this, please add a comment with the vendor so I can give them some credit here!

It is so nice being a photographer when you get to work with a great wedding planner! Julie and the crew from Cincy Event Planning made my day so easy and stress free that I think I'm going to have to include them in all my packages from now on! Ok, so that would be nice but would likely move us out of most people's photography budget! Still, it's tempting.... I couldn't have asked for a nicer group of people. The family and friends and especially Joe and Linda were just a joy to spend the day with. The vendors were amazing as expected when I work with Julie. It's been a little while since I've gotten out to Ivy Hills Country Club for a wedding reception and I don't remember it ever looking this beautiful! I'll have to give Prime Time Rentals some credit along with Cincy Event Planning and Courtenay Lambert Florals who I got to see for the second time this week! Every time I see her work I am even more impressed! It rained through the wedding ceremony at St Xavier in Downtown Cincinnati and stopped for outdoor photos at Fountain Square and the Riverwalk at Riverside Dr and then started again for the Reception at Ivy Hills. I'm not sure if rain is good luck or not, but rain when we're indoors and no rain when we're outdoors sounds like good luck to me! I've been seeing a lot more of Steve Bender DJs and Master of Ceremonies. We had two weddings tonight both with his crew! Prior to the wedding I was able to briefly catch up with Rachel from Brideface again. I actually feel like I can tell the difference between all the ladies from Brideface and the rest of the make up artists. It's easy enough for one person to have a distinct style but for a group to be distinct is quite an accomplishment. The wedding cake was from Spoon Fulla Sugar, so I don't think I need to say anymore there! It seems we've been seeing an awful lot of Jimmy's Limo. I've seen the same driver four times already this year and twice this weekend!!
With such a great couple and great group of vendors, I feel fortunate to have been included with such a fine group of people. Thanks to Joe and Linda for choosing us! I hope you enjoy your sneek peek!

It was a long weekend for this photographer! But it was well worth it! I had two super fun weddings and then a few fantastic engagement sessions on Sunday. After a stunning evening at The Grand on Friday, I was right back in Covington at the newly remodeled Madison Emerald Room for the wedding reception. The Ceremony was at the gorgeous and always easy to work with St Francis De Sales. To me the striking part of this day was simply family. As the best man and maid of honor spoke so well, it's about bonds. I could see it in their eyes, Dad, Mom, Sister, Brother and husband and wife. I saw great joy, love and people who would give anything for each other. The evening however was highlighted by the Amnesia Lane Band who were nothing short of spectacular! The wedding cake was fantastic and made by (I feel like saying "as usual" here) Spoon Fulla Sugar. The florist was Secret Garden and hair and make up was done by the Style Squad. If you loved Michelle's bridal gown as much as we did, it was from Fabulous Bridal and as you can see on the facebook page, they also had a photo booth from Say Cheese and a limo from Land Force One.
Having said all that, I think you can get a pretty good feel for everything by looking at the photos here and facebook. Enjoy!

Last night I had the opportunity to work with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation who were honoring some of Cincinnati's Finest Young Professionals at the Bell Event Centre. It was a great time, well planned, vendors, food, wine, sponsors and amazing people. I'd like to mention a few of them here with links to their websites if you'd like to check them out:

It was a chilly day but just nice enough we were able to do all the photos outside near the Madison in Northern Kentucky.
The Wedding Ceremony and Wedding Reception were both held in the Madison’s Grand Ballroom in Northern Kentucky. Kendall was just glowing all day long and everyone around her and Darrell just seemed to make it even more special. Kendall had her hair done by Jackie Rawe and her make up done by Sunanda Brammer. I avoided the Wedding Cake knowing I’d eat it all as it looked like Spoon Fulla Sugar’s Hummingbird cake. I'm sure it was amazing! The beautiful lighting was courtesy of Maize Music along with the flowers from Country Heart. I saw Bud Walters signature touch on their first dance. Well done! I also had a couple of firsts working with Tom and Karen the DJ's and Scott from Patterson Productions Films. It was a pleasure!
I think Kendall would be a little upset if I didn't mention her dress since she works at David's Bridal and was referred to us by a fellow employee at Davids! Thank you Erin.
I had a great time with you guys and really enjoyed getting to know some of your family and friends as well. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. Congratulations!

What a beautiful and crazy day!! I really appreciated how much everyone's flexibility and how they worked with us. Even more important to me is how they made me feel like part of the family. I look forward to a trip to New York for Jeremy's brother's wedding sometime soon! Jeremy and Crystal have been waiting for this day for a long long time. It was originally planned for August of 2010 if I remember correctly but little Cameron mad a suprise visit about a year ago and postponed the wedding till now. Having said that, there was a little extra celebration in order and the party was on!
The Wedding Ceremony was held at the beautiful St Xavier in Downtown Cincinnati followed by the Wedding Reception at the Madison’s Grand Ballroom in Northern Kentucky. My good friend Jeff Clark from Party Pleasers provided the entertainment and additional lighting. Crystal was absolutely beautiful and had her hair and make up done by Eye Do Make Up. Motortoys limo service provided transportation with among the best chauffeur’s in the city in Jeff Green. I avoided the Wedding Cake knowing I’d eat it all as it looked like Spoon Fulla Sugar’sRed Velvet as well as their Hummingbird cake. KEEP IT AWAY FROM ME!!
I had a great time with you guys and really enjoyed getting to know some of your family and friends as well. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and I’ll try to get the rest back to you before Christmas! Congratulations!

Cincinnati Senior Photographers Daniel Michael, Jessica Fischer and Emily Erker photographed Jimmy and Victoria's Outdoor Wedding Ceremony and Indoor Wedding Reception at the Nathaniel Green Lodge yesterday. I hesitated about even mentioning that Jimmy is deaf and Victoria is partially deaf since this day was not about that. It was about a relationship that has endured from their sophomore year in high school all the way till 14 years and one 8 year old son later. It is a special relationship surrounded by some wonderful family and friends. I do however mention it simply because I was amazed at how well I was able to connect with both of them. I feel like old friends. They are such genuine caring people that you just can't help but become friends. I am so happy for the whole family.
The Wedding DJ and MC from Party Pleasers DJ was Doug. I know every time I work with Doug, I'm likely to see something I haven't seen before and tonight was no exception. If you look at the facebook photos you'll see a garter removal like no other. You see, Jimmy is a MMA fighter who took a break leading up to his wedding but will be returning to the ring soon I believe. So prior to the garter removal, he changed into is UFC gear and Doug set up some Rocky music, fog, laser lights and created an intro to the ring (dance floor) that mimicked a fight between the Victoria and James. It was well done and entertaining to watch. Doug takes things to another level with unique ideas like no other DJ I've ever worked with! Party Pleasers also set up the lighting for the evening.
In addition to all that, I got to see the best first kiss ever! WOW Jimmy! The Wedding Bouquets were from the Florist, A Gathering of Flowers. Terri did a fantastic job! For the second night in a row, Spoon Fulla Sugar created a beautiful wedding cake that I'm sure was amazing but I never back to grab a piece again!! What's wrong with me!?
Victoria and Jimmy, you are a beautiful couple both inside and out. You guys are another example of why I love this so much! Thank you so much for including us!

Senior Wedding Photographer Daniel Michael photographs Jack and Allison's wedding ceremony at Faith Community United Methodist in West Chester and wedding reception at the Marriott North in West Chester. Mark and John did a fantastic job tag teaming the ceremony. Allison got a little choked up when they talked about "for richer or poorer"...hmmmm... There may be a staff as good as Meghan and the crew at the Marriott somewhere in the city, but I'd be hard pressed to find any that are better. I'm just not sure how anyone can be better. Everything happened exactly how and when it was supposed to. Food was served exceptionally quickly, everyone was taken care of, every little detail was attended to. Meghan Zlatic is an amazing combination of sweet, genuine, organized, professional and hard working. Simply, she does things the way they should be done. And if Allison decides to comment on this blog, I'm certain she will back up that statement as will Tom from Rick Juler who was also quite amazing himself! I watched him multi task things that anyone else would need two people to do! The Chicago bulls style entrance with lighting, custom intros and custom musical clips went off perfectly. The lighting in the room was well done by Entertainment Unlimited Events and helped create the custom ambience that Allison was going for.
I was completely blown away by Karis and Amber from Mitchell's Salon and Day Spa in West Chester. Not only did Allison look stunningly beautiful, but they were done ahead of schedule!! I never see that!! Thank you! Jeanie from Motor Toys Limousine Service was like an extra planner! She was right there just like Alyssa was with our crew always offering an extra set of hands and making sure Allison and Jack were always taken care of. I didn't get a chance to have any of the cake this week. I normally don't eat the wedding cake but make exceptions when Spoon Fulla Sugar is making their Hummingbird cake!!
Allison attended to every detail of her wedding. It was quite impressive. It looked like everything was done by a professional. You should be very proud of yourself. You put together an amazing wedding. My hats off to you, Jack and each of your families. And I might have been mistaken, but did I catch a little bit of an Ohio State theme wedding? Seemed like I saw something that made me think of Ohio State but I can't quite seem to put my finger on it.

What a beautiful Cincinnati Wedding at the Manor House in Mason! Cincinnati Wedding Photographers Daniel Michael and Emily Naehring captured beautiful images of Danielle and Steven on their long awaited wedding day. The Destination for the Wedding Ceremony was the Manor House Atrium while the Reception Venue was the Manor House Magnolia Room. One was more stunning than the next. Pam, Dan and the staff were fantastic and took such good care of the family and wedding party I was hardly able to get them a drink! The flowers from Jeff at HJ Benken were nothing short of stunning (no suprise). I've had enough wedding cake in my day that I tend not to sneak a piece but this time it was a Spoon Fulla Sugar so I couldn't resist! Steve Bender was spinning the tunes and as usual entertaining not only the crowd but me as well! I don't know of a dj that is more fun to work with! He is always prepared and can ad lib as well as anyone I k now! The tuxes were perfect so I knew we had to be working with Folchi's Formalwear! Danielle's dress came from Bridal and Formal and her hair and make up were done by Ambience Salon.
Steve and Danielle, you're wedding day could not have been more beautiful nor could you. You guys are an absolutely adorable couple and so expressive that I don't think I've ever posted so many photos on the facebook page from one wedding! I had so much fun with you and your families that I'm a little sad it's over. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and look forward to catching up when they are all finished.
To everyone reading this, please feel free to comment on your experience at their wedding or maybe a story about the planning or maybe something about Danielle and Steve you'd like to share.

The Senior Photographers at this wedding were Daniel Michael and Doug Oaks. The Associate Photographer was Jessica Fischer. All Portraits are courtesy of Images by Daniel Michael.
The Ceremony Destination was Bellarmine Chapel at St Xavier while the Reception Location was the beautiful Continental Room at the Hilton Netherlands downtown. Their Wedding DJ was Brian Benton from DJ Butlers Music by Request. The tasty Wedding Cake was prepared by a Spoon fulla Sugar while Wedding Transportation was provided by Motor Toys. The beautiful flowers were provided by Susan Foy of The Wedding Designer. Hair was done by Pump Salon, Jessica Flowers and make up was done by Erin Clark while the Lighting was provided by Goodwin. And it was all put together by the amazing Wedding Planners from the I do Boutique.
Yesterday was in interesting day from the start. First of all, the city had gone mad this weekend and there was no place to park! Everything was full because of the Marathon and Reds game. So then we got a call from the groom about his buddy Dave who was on his way to the emergency room at Good Sam because he split open his head! Don't worry, he's fine. They saw him pull up in Motor Toys Hummer Limo in a tux and had him in and out and ready for photos in no time. Matt and Beth were everything I could as for in a couple. They were good looking, fun, able to go with the flow and appreciative of everything that went amazingly.... which was everything else! The ladies from the I do boutique pulled everything together, the weather was amazing, the staff at the Hilton was fantastic, the cake was to die for, lighting was stunning and everyone there was beautiful and a blast to be around. Matt and Beth, you're wedding was amazing. Congratulations and thank you for letting us be a part of it.

Here is another in a long line of Paragon Salon brides starting with the original... Thank you Marrissa!! Carly and Tyler were and absolute blast! I swear my ears almost froze off, but they were troopers and it was worth it! We started at Riverside Drive in Covington Kentucky and then travelled to St Ignatius for their Ceremony and Clovernook Country Club for a fun filled reception with entertainment by the amazingly talented Johnny Clueless Band. The cake was beautiful and tasty thanks to A Spoon Fulla Sugar. I couldn't have had a better time and Carly, you couldn't have been any more stunning! I'll see you guys soon!
