Wedding photography at Spring Grove is always beautiful. But having the wedding ceremony at Norman Chapel with officiant Bill Proud was an extra treat! It was a pleasure working with Queen City videography for the first time in a while. The reception was hopping all night long with the charismatic and DJ Johnny B at the wedding reception at Receptions Fairfield. Petals and Glass created the floral arrangements. I'm so mad I'm on a diet because the wedding cake was from Sweetwater Bakehouse!!
As you'll see in the facebook page, this one was off the hook! It was whatever we wanted with all kinds of fun. Everyone was great and the entire day went off without a hitch... once we got started! Lindsey was beautiful and had the perfect dress as were the ladies. I was just pleased to keep the guys in their tuxes!

Joey and Jody had the perfect day for their Cincinnati Wedding Ceremony and Reception today. It was beautiful outside for photos and everything could not have gone better! Jody, you have great friends and family. Your mom and sister were right there for you at every turn and your wedding party was right there with them. You're very lucky. Joey, you're a lucky guy. Not only is Jody pretty amazing but so is Dylan. All the way around the room was two families and a lot of friends that were just a pleasure for me to be around. Jason from Laser Track was right on top of things while the staff at the Woodlands made sure everything was perfect for you. St Boniface is just a stunning church and Spring Grove really is something in the fall. Ihave to say Decan Thomas Faeth is pretty amazing! I know it wasn't full mass but still, 30 minutes is the fastest Catholic Ceremony I think I've ever seen!
I think Harvey's Trollywas a great touch and probably was one of the only things that would have fit your entire wedding party!! It certainly suited your personalities and style. it was great to see Sindiong Video as well! It's been too long. I have to say they stay longer at a reception than almost every videographer I know! They guys Tuxes from Folchi's Formal Wear looked fantastic with the air jordans. Nice touch! The flowers and cake were amazing. Petals and Glass really did a nice job with both. It's nice to see all my west side vendors again!!

Today I had the pleasure of seeing one of our fellow wedding vendors get married. Jeff has found a beautiful woman who has shown me a side of Jeff I've never seen before. Amanda, thank you for that! I knew Jeff and Amanda knew how to throw a party. What I didn't see coming was the overwhelming emotional moments throughout the day. It was a joy to be a part of. Despite the weather, Amanda's personality, attitude and beauty lit up anything that may have seemed "gloomy" outside.
The Wedding Ceremony was performed by Father Chuck Smith at St Aloysius Chapel on Reading Road. We spent some time taking photos dodging raindrops at Spring Grove but it all worked out. I loved the moment on the bridge when Jeff and Amanda first saw each other as Jeff carried an umbrella to her. it was a sweet moment. The Wedding Reception was at Receptions Erlanger and mc'd by Tim from Music Masters. Fantastic job old friend! The floral arrangements and centerpieces were put together by the wonderfully talented Destiny from Fassler Florist. Lighting was provided by Party Pleasers. I throughly enjoyed hanging out with my buddies from Rmax films. The guys were decked out in nothing but the best from Peppe Ramundo and were taken care of by the fine people at Savannah Nite Limo Service.
The weather gave us a bit of a scare, but you guys pulled it off. What an amazing group of vendors and a wonderful time!

Cincinnati Wedding Photographers Daniel Michael, Katie Schaefer and Aaron Gibson enjoyed a beautiful day with Chris and Megan today. Blue sky with some white clouds, 85, nice breeze, old friends, new friends, wonderful group of people... who could ask for more!?! After some prep photos with Megan, we headed to Spring Grove for the guys pictures where we hooked up with my old buddy Jeff Hill of Jeff Hill Wedding Videography. He had Tina and Katie with him who were just a joy to work with! I had two Katie's with me, so adding a third made it easy for the wedding party to remember our names! The flowers were just gorgeous as always when we get to work with Florist, MattFelds. Motor Toys took care of getting everyone around and were professional and easy to work with as usual.
From there, we headed to St. Ursula for the one of the more entertaining Catholic Wedding Ceremonys I've seen in a while! Father Tom, you're fantastic! Then it was off to the Wedding Reception at the Verdin Bell Event Centre downtown where Brooke and her crew were just fantastic. I love working with you guys. Thanks so much for taking such good care of us but also my friends. I've known Megan's sister Sarah for a couple years now. Prior to moving out of state she assisted with us for a summer. The Wedding Cake from Bonbonerie was amazing as always and the night couldn't have been more perfect.
Megan looked more amazing than I even thought she would be in her bridal gown from David's Bridal. I can't think of a thing that could have made their day any more amazing. I'm so happy for you guys. Sarah, thanks for bringing Megan and Chris to us. I love both of your families and look forward to Sarah's wedding and Ben's wedding down the line!
There are a lot more photos on our Facebook page! Please Like and Retweet this post as well as comment and tag yourself in the photos and on the blog. I'm always interested in hearing about the stories I didn't get to see!

The Senior Photographers at this wedding were Daniel Michael and Doug Oaks. All Portraits are courtesy of Images by Daniel Michael.
The Ceremony Destination was St. Martin de Tours while the Reception Location was Wunderland. Lori with Wunderland had to be just a little stressed as the power was out from the strong storms that came through right up until the couple arrived. But true to form it was as if nothing had gone wrong. Dinner was served on time (and was amazing I might add!), everything ran smoothly and it was a pleasure to be there. I always love catching up with my buddy, Wedding DJ John Summers. He has as smooth of a voice as there is in the business! It's nice working with professionals. Transportation in the Limo Bus was provided by Motor Toys. In fact, they are probably still on it now! Motor Toys offers fantastic rates for 12 and 24 hour packages and Brandon and Christy took advantage and headed to Hollywood Casino after their wedding! The beautiful flowers which I heard Christy comment several times on how much she loved them were provided by the Florist Nature Nook. Her Hair and Make Up was done at LaBella. To top it all off, we had the privilege of working with Matt Pine of Lifetime Films as well as the fantastic people with Say Cheese photo booths (which is always a huge hit!).
Part of me says we got lucky and things came up and we dealt with them and another part of me says things were perfect and just the way they were supposed to happen! It rained in the morning (which cooled things off) but dried up in time for photos. The ladies were running behind at the salon but that forced us to rush a little which had us finish about 10 minutes early which was precisely when the rain started again. The power went out at the church but it created a nice romantic feel with the dim lighting and then came on again a few minutes later to give us good lighting for the rest of the ceremony. The rain lightened up just enough to get a photo Christy wanted in front of the church. The adjustments to the day forced Christy to get a little out of her comfort zone of having every moment of the day planned perfectly which pushed her into going with the flow and enjoying each moment. Most importantly, everyone had a blast including myself and the other vendors I spoke with. Christy and Brandon were a pleasure to be around, the event was beautiful and the people there were even more so. I was lucky to have been there and thank Hank, Lauren, Theresa and Joe for recommending them to us and for spending some time with me tonight. Hope everyone was safe and had as great a time as I did!!
I encourage Brandon, Christy and all of their friends and family to post any personal experience they had with Brandon and Christy whether it be at their wedding or anything else you'd like to share in the comment section.
