How long have you been in business?

We’ve been photographing weddings professionally since 1999.

How would you describe your photography style?

In one word, Personalized.  To be more descriptive, a blend of styles including: Photojournalistic, Candid, Traditional, Contemporary, Emotional, Classic and Timeless.  The idea is not to capture our style but to showcase yours.

How would you describe your working style?

When we are taking portraits our teams should take control and orchestrate your day.  When we are at the Ceremony or Reception we should barely be noticed if at all.

What type of equipment do you use?

Cannon, Nikon or Sony.  More importantly, we use primarily full frame professional grade cameras and the top grade lenses designed for professional use by Nikon and Cannon.  We use some mirrorless cameras but not exclusively.

Do you shoot in RAW format or JPEG?

All photos are captured in RAW format to allow for the best possible editing and are converted to JPEG afterward for ease of use for you.

Can I give you a list of specific shots we would like?

Yes, though we will meet with you prior to your wedding to make sure we fully understand your family dynamics and customize your family photo list for you.  Additional suggestions for poses or styles are also welcome.

May I have a list of references?

Of course we can.  However, this is a bit of an outdated request with all of the available online reviews such as The Knot, Wedding Wire,  and Google. Any photographer's list of references will surely include nothing but extremely satisfied couples.  At least with online reviews they have much less control over it.

How much of a deposit do you require and when is it due? Do you offer a payment plan?

We are always flexible to make a payment plan.  If not, out standard payments are three payments (30%deposit, 50% month of wedding, 20% photo pick up).

What is your refund/cancellation policy if need to change or cancel my date?

Deposits are non refundable but can be used as a credit toward a future date or other photography needs.  There are no rebooking fees unless you move to a prime Saturday (May, June, September, October).  Off season discounts do not apply to a new in season date.

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes.

Is sales tax included in the price.

No. Though many vendors do include the tax it is not legal to do so.  According to Ohio state sales tax law, photography is considered a product and not a service and is subject to sales tax on 100% of the package amount.  That means the amount on the contract is the amount that is to be taxed.  It requires a special permit to include sales tax.  This permit is intended for businesses like street vendors and similar businesses.  The only way around Ohio sales tax is to ship the product out of state and report the tax in the state it was delivered to on your own when you do your taxes.
